Gearing
Vienna lifting gear is a CNC Compliant galvanised steel dual track system with standard low headroom gear. Vienna requires only 70mm side and headroom clearance and the top edge of the top panel does not rise above the horizontal track. If the Manual locking option is selected, headroom requirement increases by 60mm and both remote control variants require additional 30mm headroom for the operator boom. The spring assembly is not wider than the track, which means easy installation to the walls. There is no reduction of drive through width and drive through height is reduced by only 70mm on a manual door and 30mm on an automated door.
OpeNing Size
All doors sizes are internal brickwork/internal frame dimensions.
How to order your sectional GRP Vienna garage door
Sectional doors are designed to be fitted either on to the back face of a brickwork opening or on to the back face of a timber frame "fitted within the opening" Therefore when ordering your door you must either give us the internal brickwork opening size for doors being fitted directly to the back of the brickwork, or the internal timber frame size, for doors being fitted on to a timber frame: Timber frame must be a minimum of 70mm x 70mm (2 ¾" x 2 ¾").
Sizes
The Vienna range is suitable for garages with opening widths from 6'10" to 16'10" (2083mm to 5131mm) and opening heights 6'6" to 8'0" (1981mm to 2438mm). With a full range of made-to-measure sizes available, the Vienna is perfect for almost any garage opening.
Finishing and Maintenance
Supplied with door is a clean and maintenance label attached to the back of the door for advice on keeping you door in top class condition.
Door Lubrication
All doors require regular (6monthly) lubrication of the pivot points and bearings.
Locking
ALL Vienna variants are supplied without locking. If ordered as a manually operated door (locking is required) the Manual locking option must be ordered. The door is prepared for the handle to fit in the first right hand vertical side, viewed from outside, on the second panel up from the floor.
Installation
Fitting of the Wessex sectional door range is straightforward and quick. Doors can either be fitted behind an existing timber frame, between the reveal, or alternatively to maximise opening width and height, can be fitted directly to the brickwork behind the reveal, adding up to an extra 6 inches to the overall drive-through clearance.
Sectional operating gear is fitted as standard on the Vienna. This provides the convenience of all round weather sealing, vertical lift operation (so you can park right up to the door), maximisation of door width and ease of remote control operation. In operation both doors rise vertically with smooth spring assistance and each 'section' articulates and pivots in turn to run along horizontal tracks back into the garage.
Warranty
For peace of mind, all Wessex Vienna G.R.P. sectional garage doors are covered by a comprehensive manufacturer's two-year repair or replacement warranty, along with a 10 year 'Safe and Reliable Operation' warranty.
All work carried out under these warranties is handled directly by Wessex's Field Service Support Engineers.
Disclaimer
Customer Maintenance Moving parts should be lubricated regularly to ensure smooth operation. Every six months, visually inspect all wear items (including cables) for signs of wear. If wear is detected we recommend you contact your local Wessex approved specialist to arrange for a replacement. Garage door springs are under extreme tension and should only be repaired or replaced by a suitably qualified engineer.
Translucency Translucency may vary slightly when viewed from the inside on a bright day, due to minor variations in laminate thickness. This does not represent a manufacturing defect and overall performance is not affected. |
