Changing Spring Assembly on Garador Mk4/ Type 'F' Doors

  1. Raise the door to the fully open position and prop up securely.
  2. Remove the spring cover.
  3. Pull the bottom of the spring assembly out of the track.
  4. Detach the spring attachment from the guide wheel assembly by taking hold of the bottom of the spring assembly and pulling downwards, ensuring that the spring is clear of the roller spindle nut.
  5. Carefully remove the prop and lower the door to the closed position.
  6. Lift the spring assembly to allow easy withdrawal of the spring anchor from the spring eye after which the spring assembly may be completely removed.

TO FIT NEW SPRING ASSEMBLY REVERSE THE ABOVE PROCEDURE
